The year 2020 is not even over. And it has already had a lot of SHOCK value. The one thing that has been constant is CHANGE. Change is an interesting phenomenon! Either you catch the shifting of its tide or you get knocked over by its wave.
As Christians, we should always be ready for the instability that comes with both "good" and "bad" things. We are constantly being perfected hour by hour, minute by minute, second by second. Therefore, who are we to drag our feet with the new and unfamiliar???
Let us take our cues from Peter in Acts 10:8-35. For years, this man followed the Jewish tradition of not eating "unclean" meat. Then ALL OF A SUDDEN everything is switched up on him when God tells him to partake. Fortunately, Peter becomes aware of what is happening. There was a GREATER PURPOSE. A GREATER MEANING. A SHIFT IN THE KNOWN PHILOSOPHY. AND CHANGE IS THE VEHICLE. The movement of the Gospel was pushed forward by Peter's ability to expand what he knew as well as embrace the UNKNOWN.
We should not seek "new normals". Instead, we must live each moment by our NEW REVELATIONS in the knowledge of GOD.
CHANGE > STUCKNESS
